DigitalXpert Software is a leading developer of educational software products for the European and US markets. Currently the company goes on creating elaborate projects for these circles.

Due to the partnership with Ramec Invest Ltd, which purchased a 26% of DigitalXpert Software share holding, and to the rapid growth of the Russian IT market, the Russian line of software products development targeted at large Russian companies was opened. The present Russian projects in DigitalXpert Software portfolio include the following.

In September 2005, DigitalXpert Software won a public competition of data warehouse analysis production, announced by a Federal service and the USA Embassy in Moscow. Just a few years ago, the main task of these services was the collection of information, ministry's central database building, data processing works ordered by subdivisions of the financial service. Lately, a lot of qualitative changes have been going on in evolution of state institutions' informational system. Accumulated information resources are used not only for statistics forming, but also in everyday activity of functional subdivisions. These changes gave impulse to innovations in data processing technology, and to the development of fundamentally different, up-to-date data analysis software.

In December 2005, the company finishes development of the Security Kernel Development project for the portal belonging to a Russian Federal Service.

The main aim of the portal development for the Service is to create the common service for providing access services for both internal and external users to some informational resources of the Service through a common entrance point using the centralized security subsystems.

Internal users are the Service officials; external users are natural and legal persons, businessmen, and executive power bodies. It means that any citizen in the Russian Federation will be able to get access to a particular piece of information via the Internet. Access will surely be restricted by appropriate permissions and will be entirely confidential. Users will not have to visit the Service offices to get this information; they will be able to access it from any part of the world using a personal computer.

These works are performed in the framework of general realization of the portal access system, and include development and implementation of the basic portal configuration with the ability to further deploy it for particular bodies.

The estimated effect from the portal integration will result in realization of the technological environment which will provide increased data access efficiency and integration of applications to the benefit of the administration.

Such projects show that up-to-date technologies keep penetrating into Russian state institutions, which adds value to confidential information processing. Keeping and increasing the data security level, the modern software allows analyzing huge amounts of data, extracting the required information much faster and more accurately.
